Info
Baja was a well-established name across Saudi Arabia, but its brand had become heavily product-led and visually inconsistent. In a crowded and increasingly competitive category, the identity lacked distinctiveness, emotional resonance, and the flexibility required to scale across formats, retail environments, and future innovations. At the same time, the business had strong ambitions: become more authentic, more differentiated, and more relevant to modern consumers.Food plays a central role in everyday rituals of connection. Whether alone or together, people look for small moments of gratification that elevate daily life. For Baja, the opportunity was to move beyond simply showing products and instead own a more meaningful role: being the brand that enhances the moment itself. We repositioned Baja around a simple but powerful brand idea: Make any moment better. From there, we rebuilt the identity from the ground up, shifting the focus from product literalness to bold brand presence.Key moves included:- Creating a distinctive, ownable logotype designed for visibility and memorability.- Establishing a high-impact color architecture to drive recognition at scale.- Simplifying pack communication while amplifying appetite appeal.- Building a flexible system capable of stretching across categories and retail touchpoints.- The result was a brand designed not only to stand out on shelf, but to grow with the business. The transformation re-energized Baja internally and externally, strengthening its presence across retail and creating a more coherent and scalable platform for expansion. Following the relaunch, Baja achieved a +38% increase in sales, consolidating its leadership in the category.
