Telefónica, the spanish leading telecomunication company is celebrating a hundred years of history, and for the occasion they needed a commemorative centenary identity that would praise the company's legacy, their succesful present and its exciting future.When we have birthdays we usually blow out the candles and make wishes for the future. And there are few things more human than celebrating the passage of time. Telefónica celebrates 100 years, but it is not a time for nostalgia, but for anticipation, inspiration and imagination What Telefónica will be in the future depends on what we do today. Because our legacy is everything that is to come.The Centenary logo has been designed to create a conceptual window, made out of the Telefónica logo circles, that moves & morphs to create a distinctive pulse that evokes evolution & ongoing innovation, symbolizing the past, present & future.The creative solution lies in maximum simplicity to create a powerful icon.A logo that works responsively as an identifier and as a Key visual - that will co-exists with the Telefonica logo to guide all the brand communications & activations in 2024.The 100 is the protagonist of the visual identity and gives us the possibility of talking about yesterday, today and tomorrow in different ways.
